What is Eyebrow Tattooing?
Eyebrow tattooing is a cosmetic procedure in which pigment is implanted into the skin of the eyebrows to create a fuller, natural-looking appearance. This technique is often used to fill in sparse or uneven eyebrows, define their shape, or enhance their colour.
What are the styles of brow tattooing?
Feathering
Feather touch brows are created by tattooing hair like strokes through the brow to give the illusion of natural hairs. This style of brow is perfect for those who are after a “naturally perfect” brow.
Ombre’
Ombre’ brows will give you a soft “just tinted” look, if you are wanting to fill in your gaps, and are sick of penciling in every day, this style is perfect for you. At first it may look a little fuller but the tattooing will soften and fade to create a beautiful everyday look.
Combination
Combination brows are the perfect middle ground between feathering and ombre’. Feather hair strokes are tattooed at the front of the brows and then the rest of the brow is softly shaded in.
What is Lip Blush Tattooing?
Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the colour and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing pigment into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The colour is subtle to give natural-looking results.

It is a lovely way to restore colour in the lips or match your favourite lip balm! It is also great for redefining the lip border for anyone who has experienced a loss of definition due to lip fillers, ageing, smoking or scarring.
What is Lash Enhancement Tattooing?
Eyelash enhancement, also known as permanent eye makeup, can bring more focus to your eye colour, enhance eye size and brighten tired looking eyes. Say hello to smudge proof, water proof and sweat proof eyeliner! Women who have pale lashes can use lash enhancements to create a defined look without makeup. You can choose between a defined natural look or a thicker bolder look.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
Normally between 2-3 hours, depending on the treatment you are having. Often the longest part of the appointment can be the consultation and for brows or lips drawing on the desired shape – I will always spend time getting them as symmetrical and as close to perfect as possible, with your approval before any cosmetic tattooing begins. The actual tattooing rarely takes longer than 45-60 minutes. When you make your appointment, we will discuss the time needed and make sure there is plenty of time for you to ask questions and for us to discuss the look you are after.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT BROW STYLE WILL BE BEST FOR ME?
There are 3 different styles of brow tattooing, feathering, combination and ombre. Prior to booking in your eyebrow tattooing, I offer a complimentary consultation where we can discuss your concerns and goals for your brows, this can also be done on the day as I always allow plenty of time for this. The type of brow we decide to do for you will come down to lifestyle, skin tone/texture and your end goal.
DOES IT HURT?
It varies between person to person, most people experience a little discomfort during the first 5-10 minutes of the treatment, but once the area has been numbed effectively, feel very little. We aim to make the experience as comfortable for you as possible. Most people feel concerned about lips or liner hurting the most but the above applies to all treatments I offer. I have had some clients fall asleep!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

DO YOU SHAVE OFF MY BROW HAIRS?
No, Your eyebrows are not shaved off before getting them cosmetically tattooed. We aim to work with your natural brow hairs as much as possible. Some people may have lots of natural brow hair left and some people may not have much at all. We can tattoo them in both scenarios.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO GO TO YOUR 4-12 WEEK REFRESH APPOINTMENT?
I feel that two appointments are necessary to create great, long-lasting results. In the first appointment, a shape (for lips and brows) is established and colour saturation occurs. The second appointment is to reinforce the pigment, this will fill any spots where colour did not take as well or has faded. You don’t have to come to your second appointment if you feel it’s unnecessary. However, I highly recommend it. I want you to be walking around with the best set of brows, lips or liner that I can give you and cosmetic tattooing that lasts.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO GET A 1 -2 YEAR COLOUR BOOST?
A brow, lip or liner refresh is done typically 1 -2 years after your initial session. The areas should be faded 40-50% to get best results out of our colour boost. This session will add/refresh the pigment within the skin and perfect the tattooing again as some areas may have faded over time.
I AM PREGNANT/BREASTFEEDING – CAN I HAVE COSMETIC TATTOOING DONE?
I do not recommend it – as you will be lying flat for quite some time, which could be uncomfortable for you. A letter from your doctor will be required. Please call us in advance to discuss. During breast feeding you may be able to have them done but it is recommended to express for 48 hours post appointment.
HOW LONG WILL MY COSMETIC TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL?
Healing time differs in individuals. It can be anything from 4 days to 14 days. The majority of clients resume work the next day and manage to keep their tattoos discreet. Dependant on the area tattooed, redness, dryness and minor swelling can occur. Swelling usually subsides within a couple of hours (except in full lip treatments where it can take up to 24 hours). Itchiness is the first sign of healing, please ensure you do not itch the area and keep the area moisturised as scabbing and itching will cause patchiness within the tattoo. After care is run through with you thoroughly at your appointment.
HOW DO I CHOOSE A COLOUR FOR MY COSMETIC TATTOO BROWS OR LIPS?
We usually do recommend bringing in with you the colours that you usually wear on a day-to-day basis. Lipstick or brow pencil colour. We take your skin tone and desired result into consideration prior to choosing a colour and we try our very best to match your chosen shade. It is important that you are aware that colours do change post implantation. One same colour can be used on 20 individuals with all twenty resulting in different colours. This is due to the fact that many different things such as the following can affect the final colour; Client’s skin undertones, Medication and medical conditions, Skin care products used, Sun exposure, Acidic based products, Skins cellular composition, Failure to adhere to provided aftercare instructions.
Immediately after the treatment the colour will be brighter, deeper and more vibrant than the desired colour (also remember that the skin has been scratched too). Up to 40-60% of pigment can be lost within the healing period. As the skin heals, the colour will become softer and lighter. We recommend to wait at least 4-6 weeks before judging the colour. The colour tweaking can be addressed in your adjustment appointment 4-12 weeks post treatment.
